The Company

Mitsui E&P Australia Pty Ltd (MEPAU) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Mitsui & Co. Ltd. Our head office in Perth operates as regional headquarters for Mitsui’s oil and gas business in Australia and New Zealand.

MEPAU is progressively developing the Waitsia Gas Project, near Dongara Western Australia. With the Waitsia Stage 1A Expansion now up and running, we’re expanding the team.

The Role

We’re seeking a Maintenance Scheduler & Materials Coordinator to join our Dongara based Operations team for a period of 24 months. This is a newly created role. You will be supporting and scheduling all maintenance activities at site. You will also be responsible for maintaining the inventory and administering our CMMS System.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

·      Coordinating maintenance and resource scheduling for Perth Basin Operations including production plants, site equipment and mobile plant equipment.

·      Ensuring availability of spares, consumables and site resources are in line with planned activities.

·      Administering asset hierarchy in CMMS System.

·      Developing weekly compliance reports for maintenance and report on key performance indicators.

·      Reviewing short, long term, strategy tasks ensuring they are relevant to the job and are scheduled accordingly.

·      Auditing and correlating site inspections.

·      Maintaining stores inventory through stock takes, auditing, transferring, issuing. 

·      Procuring and dispatching stock, servicing parts and consumables in a timely and cost-effective manner

·      Maintaining all maintenance registers

·      Supporting implementation of the Perth Basin Operations Training matrix and evidence database.

·      Ensuring all inductions and training are completed before contractors/ employee’s arrival to site and job starts

·      Developing procedures and work instructions

The Person

Our ideal person will be a team player with a high level of enthusiasm, self-motivation and initiative. You will be good at multi-tasking and communicating and will have strong organisational skills. You will possess a sound understanding of CMMS and corresponding interlinkages.. 

Please note this position is based in Dongara, and the ability to travel to and from site is a must. The role will be full-time during office hours.

To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and experience:

·        Minimum of five years’ experience in similar role with a sound understanding of maintenance scheduling.

·        Sound working knowledge of CMMS systems          

·        Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite, in particular Word, Outlook, Excel and Project

·        Excellent organization and prioritisation skills

·        Proven experience in relationship management with multiple stakeholders and suppliers.

·        Well-honed communication and interpersonal skills
